Who is Jesse Roth?
Jesse is an award-winning filmmaker and photographer making branded documentary films. Based in Somerset, he works all over the UK. Jesse came into the industry after studying sound design for moving image at Bath Spa Uni, then transitioned into a filmmaker himself, after the DSLR revolution made shooting music videos more accessible.
Jesse started back in 2016, playing around withall all things film and photography-based
Jesse’s style of filmmaking was honed by working on music videos and short documentaries, which have racked up millions views on YouTube alone. He has shot content for Radio 1 and the BBC, Arts Council, The Fully Charged Show, Jeremy Cooper and Moonchild Sanelly.
Jesse is the resident filmmaker at East Quay Gallery in Watchet, where he holds a studio. Jesse has made a number of artist profile films on internationally recognised contemporary artists, including Pinkie Maclure, Serena Korda, and Peter Liversidge.
